EN 10269 Grade 34CrNiMo6 – Quenched & Tempered (QT) Steel for High-Stress Applications

Steel 34CrNiMo6 is suitable for high-stress components (also large forged parts) with high heat-treatment cross-sections and good toughness properties in aircraft, heavy vehicle and machine construction (e.g. propeller shafts, connecting rods, gearbox shafts). Lowest working temperature -40 °C The steel as a bright steel product is used in the form of rods, blank, straight, in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10). Further application for mounting elements at lower temperatures.
