EN 10083-2 Grade C40E Quenched & Tempered Steel – Ideal for Heat-Resistant Applications
Steel C40E is suitable for heat-resistant screws and larger forged parts as well as for parts of more complex form (e.g. gear wheels, camshafts) in vehicle manufacturing and machine engineering. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277).
