EN 10269 Grade C35E – Normalized or Normalized Formed Steel for Heavy‑Duty Applications
Steel C35E is suitable for slightly higher loaded components in vehicle and machine engineering which have larger dimensions (large forged parts) and more complex forms as well as higher demands on constancy of properties and surface integrity (e.g. gearbox parts, crankshafts). Lowest working temperature -25 °C, good creep behavior up to 480 °C The steel as a bright steel product is used in the form of rods, bright, straight, in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10). Further application for mounting elements at increased temperatures.
