X4CrNiMo16-5-1 Grade: Quenched & Tempered (QT900) – High‑Performance Martensitic Stainless Steel

Material X4CrNiMo16-5-1 is comparable to X 4 CrNiMo 16 5 acc. to SEW400 : 1991-02. This material is a martensitic stainless steel for machine engineering, for pumps, fittings, compressors as well as for shipbuilding. It shows good corrosion resistance and cryogenic toughness up to -200 °C. The steel has high corrosion resistance especially to water, weak acids and bases, oxidizing acids (nitric acid) and low chloride containing media.
