EN 10088-1 Grade X20Cr13 Quenched & Tempered Steel – Durable, Corrosion-Resistant for High-Load Applications

Material X20Cr13 is comparable to X 20 Cr 13 acc. to DIN 17440 : 1985-07. This material is used for construction parts of higher strength with higher mechanical load, such as axles, shafts, pump components, piston rods, valve cones, nozzle needles, ships propellers, beater bars, surgical instruments. Good corrosion resistance to water and steam (turbine blades). The steel is suitable for mirror finishing. Appliction temperature -40 to 550 °C (for the comparable DIN-material).
