EN 10216-5 X8CrNiNb16-13 Solution-Annealed Steel (+AT) – High‑Temperature, Creep‑Resistant Alloy
Fully austenitic, high temperature special steel, creep resistant up to approximately 800 degrees C, resistant to scaling up to 750 degrees C. It is insensitive to inclination to embrittlement. It is used for heat work tools as well as a component in hydrogenation plants that is resistant to pressurized hydrogen at high temperatures. It is predominantly used for componants in thermal power plants (turbine and steam boiler production), valves, discs, parts of casings, and superheater, heat exchanger and steam ducts.
