SEW 400 X1NiCrMoCuN31-27-4 Quenched Steel (+Q) – Superior Corrosion Resistance for Chemical Applications
Properties: - due to the low C-content, very good resistant to intergranular corrosion also in the welded condition to 400 °C - resistant to chloride containing media, oxidising and reducing acids (contaminated inclusively) - by the copper content the application is very well possible in sulfur-sour media - by the high Ni-content excellently resistant to chloride-induced crack corrosion Application: - for particularly critical applications in the chemical industry during that sulfur and phosphoric acid production - in the marine engineering (seawater desalination) as well as tubing material for transport sour gases
