EN 10028-7 Grade X2CrNiN23-4 Duplex Stainless Steel – Solution Annealed for High Strength and Corrosion Resistance
The austenitic-ferritic steel X2CrNiN23-4 is a stainless duplex steel of high strength and hardness, favorable resistance to general corrosion, pitting corrosion and especially to stress corrosion. Furthermore resistance to intercrystalline corrosion also in the sensitized resp. welded condition. The sort is acc. to DIN EN 10095 applicable as heat resistant steel. Application: for lightweight constructions of longer durability and higher reliability, in the apparatus construction for heat-exchanger and pipelines in chloride-containing media, hydraulic tubes, feeder water preheater, agitator shafts and steam heating systems
