EN 10272 X2CrNiN23-4 Duplex Steel – Solution Annealed (+AT) – High Strength, Corrosion Resistance
The austenitic-ferritic steel grade X2CrNiN23-4 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessels. The material is a stainless duplex-steel with high strength and hardness, very good resistance to general corrosion, pitting corrosion and particularly to stress corrosion. Furthermore it shows resistance to intercrystalline corrosion also in sensitized condition.
