EN 10272 X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 Austenitic-Ferritic Steel – Solution Annealed (+AT) for Pressure Vessels

The austenitic-ferritic steel grade X2CrNiMo23-5-3 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01 is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessels. The material shows high resistance to stress corrosion in chlorid containing medis as well as favorable resistance to pitting and intercrystalline corrosion also in welded condition. The steel has favorable general resistance in many corrosive media such as organic and inorganic acids, resistance under acid gas conditions. Favorable warm and cold formability and weldability.
