EN 10028‑7 Grade X2CrNiMoN22‑5‑3: Solution‑Annealed Steel for Corrosion‑Resistant Applications
The ferritic-austenitic steel X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 is high resistant to stress corrosion in chloride-containing media. Favorable resistance to pitting corrosion and intercrystalline corrosion even in sensitized resp. welded condition. The steel shows favorable general resistance in many corrosive media, such as organic and inorganic acids, resistance under acid gas conditions and favorable hot and cold forming property, It is weldable. Application: chemical and petrochemical industry, for pressure vessels, heat-exchanger and tubes, offshore-engineering Application temperature: -10 to 280 °C
