EN 10277-2 Grade C15 Cold Drawn Steel – High Core Strength for Vehicle & Machine Parts
Steel C15 is suitable for parts of slightly higher core strength in vehicle and machine engineering, that are predominantly wear loaded (e.g. levers, joints, nuts, gear wheels). Lowest application temperature -25 °C, most favorable application area 5 to 10 mm nominal size. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
