DIN 17456 X3CrNiMo17-13-3 – Heat‑Treated, Quenched Stainless Steel with Superior Corrosion Resistance
The material X3CrNiMo17-13-3 has a similar corrosion resistance like 1.4401. It shows slightly improved resistance to selective corrosion due to the higher Mo-content. The material is in delivery condition resistant to intercrystalline corrosion. Application for acid resistant apparatus in chemical and pharmaceutical industry, cellulose, color, fatty acid, textile and rayon industry, petrochemistry.
