EN 10272 Grade X1NiCrMoCuN25-20-7 Solution-Annealed Steel – High Corrosion Resistance & Strength

The austenitic steel grade X1NiCrMoCuN25-20-7 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessel. The material is the higher by Mo-alloyed option of 1.4539. The steel shows very high resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting as well as to pitting corrosion caused by stress corrosion. It has with 46 the highest steel interaction parameter (Pitting index). The material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion (ic), also in welded condition. Application in higher chloride contaminated media, such as in appropriate sulfuric and phosphoric acid, furthermore in offshore technology facilities.
