DIN 1712-3 Grade 3.0385 H18 – Ultra-Pure Aluminum for High-Conductivity Applications

Superpure aluminium Extremely pure aluminum material with particularly high electrical conductivity. This material is very well anodically oxidisable (high gloss surfaces), has however only small mechanical strength. It is badly splinter-giving to work on (smearing), however well weldable and well solderable. Forming capacity and corrosion behaviour in sour environment are very good. Application: compressed gas tanks, chemical and food industry, household article, reflectors, trim, costume jewelry, corroding volume, electrolytic capacitors, connector lugs.
