ITHEC 2020 Announces Final Technical Program – 5th International Conference on Thermoplastic Composites

 

 

ITHEC 2020, 5th International Conference and Exhibition on Thermoplastic Composites, will be held in Bremen, Germany, 13 – 14 October 2020.

Since 2012, ITHEC is the key event attracting the international thermoplastic composites community. In 2018, 370 international conference delegates registered to attend two keynote lectures, 30 oral presentations and 20 poster presentations. Due to the huge response to the Call for Papers (an increase of 50%), the technical program for 2020 has been expanded to 40 oral presentations and 38 poster presentations, as well as 3 keynote lectures. There will be an extra session on welding, one of the key topics in aeronautics. As in 2018, a panel discussion will be the final highlight of the event.

The ITHEC 2020 program is now available online. For reference, the 2018 technical conference brochure is available as a pdf. The 2020 edition as pdf is being prepared now.

The accompanying exhibition to the technical conference in 2018 featured 52 exhibitors and this too has increased significantly for 2020. To complement the special presentation session on the high-interest topic of 3D printing, the ITHEC 2020 exhibition will feature the new Advanced Thermoplastic Composite 3D Printing Forum, powered by CompositesWorld.
