Solvay and Safran Secure Long-Term Agreement for High-Temperature Materials
Solvay (Alpharetta, Ga., U.S.) has signed a long-term agreement with Safran (Paris, France) for the supply of high-temperature composites and adhesives. Safran says it will use these advanced materials on several of its critical engine components.
The new contract extends and reinforces collaboration between the two companies, adding to the LEAP aircraft engine supply agreement signed in July 2018. Solvay says it is committed to positioning itself as a supplier of choice for engine applications.
