Aaron Industries Unveils Jet‑Flo Polypro: High‑MFI Recycled PP for Lightweight, Durable Parts
Aaron Industries Corp. has launched Jet‑Flo Polypro, a new high‑melt‑flow recycled polypropylene (PP) compound. By incorporating Milliken & Co.’s DeltaMax Performance Modifier, Jet‑Flo Polypro achieves an unprecedented combination of a melt flow index (MFI) of 50‑70 g/10 min and a notched Izod impact strength of 1.5‑2.0. This makes it one of the first recycled PP materials that delivers both ultra‑high flow and reliable impact resistance.
High MFI allows extrusion and injection molding at lower temperatures, reducing energy consumption and shortening cycle times. The result is higher throughput, lower manufacturing costs, and the ability to produce thin‑walled, lightweight parts that remain durable—ideal for housewares, DVD cases, caps, closures, and other precision components.
Jet‑Flo Polypro is available as black or gray pellets and is sold regionally across the eastern United States and Canada. Aaron Industries’ partnership with Milliken demonstrates how performance modifiers can unlock new application possibilities for recycled polymers while advancing sustainability.
By enabling faster processing and mitigating molded‑in stresses that lead to warpage, Jet‑Flo Polypro opens the door to more complex designs and tighter tolerances—helping manufacturers create higher‑quality, eco‑friendly products.
