Tupperware Expands Sustainable Portfolio with Tritan Renew Lunch‑It Containers & Sandwich Keepers

Tupperware Brands Corp., headquartered in Orlando, Fla., is broadening its ECO+ portfolio—its line of environmentally responsible products—by introducing two new Tritan Renew‑based items: Lunch‑It Containers and Sandwich Keepers.

The move follows the brand’s 2019 launch of an eco‑friendly straw crafted from SABIC’s Trucircle chemically recycled polypropylene (rPP). That first circular material prevented more than 100 tons (200,000 lbs) of CO₂ emissions that would have otherwise entered landfills.

Both new products are made with Tritan Renew, Eastman Chemical Co.’s polyester renewal technology that recycles plastic waste at the molecular level. The process yields a high‑clarity, BPA‑free material that can incorporate up to 50 % certified recycled content—verified by ISCC’s mass‑balance certification—without compromising durability or dishwasher safety.

Bill Wright, Tupperware’s executive vice‑president for product innovation, said, “Our commitment to research and design keeps us at the forefront of sustainable solutions. By partnering with Eastman, we’re able to offer clear, high‑performance products that reduce waste across the lifecycle.”

Scott Ballard, Eastman’s VP and general manager of Specialty Plastics, added, “Tupperware’s choice of Tritan Renew demonstrates the real‑world impact of molecular recycling. It’s a win for consumers, the environment, and the circular economy.”

These additions reinforce Tupperware’s “No Time to Waste” vision—using innovation to cut food waste and single‑use plastics while producing reusable, eco‑friendly products.
