Avient Corp. has unveiled a new line of heat‑stable blue toners and colorants designed to improve the recyclability of PET packaging. The ColorMatrix Optica blue toners correct yellowing and color variation that typically arise during the recycling process, whether the material is virgin PET or recycled PET (rPET).

Repeated heat cycles during recovery and reuse can lead to aesthetic changes—such as yellowing—and lower processing efficiency. The new formulation mitigates these effects, ensuring a more consistent product quality.
