Nova Chemicals has unveiled the Surpass HPs267‑AB, a next‑generation high‑density polyethylene (HDPE) resin engineered to deliver unmatched moisture‑barrier performance in multilayer flexible packaging. The resin’s superior stiffness and heat resistance also support the circular economy by enabling designers to create more recyclable PE‑film structures.

Using Nova Chemicals’ Advanced Sclairtech technology, the HPs267‑AB resin demonstrates up to a 20% improvement in water‑vapor transmission (WVT) performance compared with the company’s flagship Surpass HPs167‑AB. This breakthrough offers film producers, converters, and brand owners:
