About SOLIDWORKS World
Last week, Los Angeles welcomed thousands of SOLIDWORKS enthusiasts, resellers, and industry leaders at the 2017 SOLIDWORKS World conference. As the premier annual gathering for CAD professionals, the event blended comprehensive training, product showcases, and keynote sessions that spanned everything from simulation software to robotics. Exhibitors—including major partners—displayed cutting‑edge solutions in the Partner Pavilion, allowing attendees to explore innovations between sessions and during special networking events.

Markforged’s Presence at SOLIDWORKS World 2017
Markforged proudly occupied a booth in the Partner Pavilion, spotlighting our 3D printers and the high‑performance parts they produce. Highlights included:
- Robotic end effectors designed for industrial manufacturing.
- The iconic Ducati brake lever, demonstrating our precision build capabilities.
- Onyx parts printed on the Mark X and Mark Two, many destined for sand‑casting molds.
- A playful Patriots logo print, celebrating the conference’s Superbowl opening.
Our Metal X scanner also made a memorable appearance, scanning several parts live and generating substantial interest from attendees and exhibitors alike.

Final Thoughts
Markforged was thrilled to showcase the breadth of our printed‑part applications and to demonstrate the capabilities of the Metal X scanner. We extend our gratitude to the resellers, customers, and SOLIDWORKS community who visited our booth and engaged in insightful conversations.
