Markforged Global Partner Summit 2019: 300 Partners, 31 Countries, 3D Printing Innovation

Markforged’s Global Partner Summit 2019, held in January in Austin, Texas, gathered more than 300 attendees representing 31 countries. In its second year, the summit served as a platform to unveil 2019’s product roadmap, foster networking, and honor our most outstanding partners.

The event featured keynote addresses from CEO Greg Mark, Global VP of Sales, Services and Partnerships Darcey Harrison, VP of Global Channel Sales Brian Houle, and Chief Marketing Officer Bryan Semple. Speakers explored the future of additive manufacturing, how 3D printers address diverse business challenges, and strategies for deepening customer collaborations to unlock new applications.

Key industry partners and customers shared real‑world successes. Inventor Kent Gilson, creator of the 3D‑printed robot arm Dexter, demonstrated how Markforged technology reduced the component count from 800 to fewer than 70, significantly enhancing the robot’s performance. Partners engaged with Kent during networking breaks to discuss the broader impact of 3D printing on robotics.
