Wittmann Group Unifies Brand, Phasing Out Battenfeld Name
The Wittmann Group, headquartered in Kottingbrunn, Austria, has announced that it will retire the Battenfeld name from all external branding. From 1 January 2022, the group will use the Wittmann logo for all advertising, product literature and digital channels. The transition will be fully complete by the K Show in October 2022.
Despite the rebranding, the legal structure of the group will remain unchanged. Corporate names, including Wittmann Battenfeld Inc., the U.S. headquarters in Torrington, Connecticut, will stay intact.
Historically, the Wittmann brand covered auxiliary and robotics solutions, while the Wittmann Battenfeld label applied to injection‑molding machines and related processes. The new single‑brand strategy underscores the company’s commitment to the injection‑molding platform as the cornerstone of its future growth and reinforces its “one‑stop‑shop” positioning.
The unified branding will feature a consistent color scheme and visual identity across the entire product range, signalling a cohesive market presence.
The Wittmann Group has announced a shift to a single brand strategy going forward starting in 2022.
