SMRP Seeks Experienced Volunteer to Lead Member Services

The Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals invites a seasoned volunteer to serve as Member Services Director. In this role, you will champion SMRP’s vision, mission, and strategic goals while orchestrating membership-related activities and communications.

Key responsibilities include:

Facilitating board and committee meetings and ensuring clear communication of board priorities.
Managing the member services budget and reporting financial performance to the board.
Recruiting and mentoring volunteer committee members across Membership, Communications, Industry Partner Relations, and Component Development (chapters & special interest groups).
Recommending policy changes and maintaining the strategic plan related to membership growth and engagement.

The Director will also serve on the Board of Directors and attend board meetings—either in person or by teleconference—contributing to governance and long‑term planning.

Eligibility: You must be a current SMRP member holding a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) credential and be prepared to dedicate 10–15 hours per month to this vital volunteer position.
