Boeing Secures 7-Year $319M Contract to Maintain U.S. Air Force Executive Aircraft

Boeing has announced it will continue to provide maintenance and support for the U.S. Air Force’s C‑32A and C‑40BC executive aircraft under a new seven‑year, $319 million contract.
These aircraft—derived from the Boeing 757 and 737—carry senior U.S. leaders, including the Vice President, cabinet members, and top military commanders. Boeing has been the sole service provider since the first deliveries in 1998 (C‑32A) and 2001 (C‑40BC).
“The Air Force can rely on Boeing anytime, anywhere in the world,” said Jerry Dunmire, executive transport services and support program director. “We take great pride in keeping these essential aircraft ready and updated with the latest technologies.”
The C‑32 and C‑40 exemplify Boeing’s expertise in converting proven commercial airframes into reliable military platforms, backed by a global support network that spans both U.S. and international customers.
U.S. leaders have flown on Boeing‑derived aircraft since the era of the Boeing 314 and Douglas C‑54 during World War II, underscoring a long tradition of partnership.
Headquartered in St. Louis, Boeing’s Defense, Space & Security unit is the world’s largest and most versatile manufacturer of military aircraft, employing roughly 50,000 people worldwide and driving a $30 billion business.
