Mobile Sanitary Bulk Bag Discharger – Dust‑Free, Stainless‑Steel, and Mobile

A new Flexicon Mobile Sanitary Bulk Bag Discharger features stainless‑steel contact surfaces that enable dust‑free discharging of contamination‑sensitive bulk solids into downstream processes.

Mounted on castors for in‑plant mobility, the BULK‑OUT® BFF Series discharger frame incorporates four adjustable extension posts that accommodate bulk bags ranging from 915 mm to 2135 mm tall. The removable bag‑lifting frame, equipped with Z‑CLIP™ strap holders, lets bulk bags be attached at ground level and then forklifted into the receiving cups on the discharger frame.

The bulk‑bag‑to‑hopper interface combines a manual SPOUT‑LOCK™ clamp ring for high‑integrity bag‑spout connections with a pneumatically‑actuated TELE‑TUBE™ telescoping tube that maintains continuous downward tension on the clamp ring and bag spout as the bag empties, promoting smooth flow and complete evacuation.

Flow is further enhanced by FLOW‑FLEXER™ bag activators that rhythmically raise and lower opposite bottom sides of the bag, forming a steep “V” shape and ensuring total discharge without any manual intervention.

The integral hopper can be fitted with a metering device for pneumatic or tubular‑cable conveying lines, a charging adapter for flexible screw conveyors, or a universal flanged outlet for connection to downstream process equipment or storage vessels.

Because the entire unit can be rolled to any location within the plant, it eliminates the need for multiple stationary units and allows easy transport to a cleaning station between production runs.

Designed for effortless cleaning, the adjustable extension posts are mounted outside the frame posts rather than telescoping from within, and horizontal stainless‑steel members use round tubing to minimise residual water and cleaning solutions clinging to the frame after wash‑down.

The system is available in all‑stainless construction to meet food, dairy, pharmaceutical, and industrial standards, as well as in carbon steel with durable industrial coatings.
