EY Announces Garrett Morelock of Monroe Engineering, LLC as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 Michigan and Northwest Ohio Award Finalist

Rochester Hills, MI – August 28, 2020 – Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) announced that Garrett Morelock, CEO of Monroe Engineering, LLC, has been selected as a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 Michigan and Northwest Ohio Award. The 34‑year‑old program honors entrepreneurial leaders whose ambition fuels innovation, growth, and prosperity, building businesses that shape our future.

Morelock was chosen from a competitive pool of nominees by a panel of independent judges, placing him among 29 finalists. Winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony on Thursday, October 8 at 6 p.m. EST, joining a global community of Entrepreneur Of The Year alumni. This year, finalists who demonstrated extraordinary resilience and community support during the COVID‑19 crisis will also receive special recognition.

Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the most respected competitions for high‑growth business leaders. Nominees are evaluated on six criteria: overcoming adversity, financial performance, societal impact, commitment to a values‑based company, innovation, and talent management. Since its inception, the program has expanded to over 145 cities in more than 60 countries.

Regional award winners become eligible for the national Entrepreneur Of The Year competition, to be announced in November during a virtual gala. National overall winners then advance to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award in June 2021.
