Mouser Electronics & Microchip Launch the Ultimate Arduino Challenge at Embedded World
Mouser Electronics, in partnership with Microchip, announced the Ultimate Arduino Challenge at embedded world 2019. The contest, unveiled by Arduino co‑founder Massimo Banzi at the Mouser stand, invites engineers worldwide to develop Arduino‑based projects and submit them via the Supplyframe landing page.
The competition is organized into three distinct categories:
- Data Collection – Build a system that gathers information with an Arduino board and a range of sensors.
- Industrial IoT – Design a product that seamlessly connects to its surrounding environment.
- Anything Goes – Submit any creative Arduino‑based concept, complete with a description and system diagram.
Participants will be judged through a two‑stage process: community voting over the four‑month duration and a final evaluation by a panel of industry experts. The top three entries will receive awards and recognition.
Arduino is an open‑source electronics prototyping platform known for its flexible, user‑friendly hardware and software. It empowers artists, designers, hobbyists, and professionals alike to prototype interactive objects and environments with ease.
