Garz & Fricke Strengthens Position by Acquiring e‑GITS GmbH, a Leading Software Service Provider

Garz & Fricke Group is reinforcing its market leadership by acquiring e‑GITS GmbH, a Stuttgart‑ and Chennai‑based software service provider. Founder Sven Liess will continue as Managing Director, collaborating closely with Garz & Fricke executives to evolve the group into a premier systems supplier offering integrated solutions for HMIs, vending machines, and payment systems, while expanding the Stuttgart hub.

e‑GITS’ core expertise lies in designing bespoke cross‑platform applications, primarily graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for embedded IoT devices. Its portfolio spans medical engineering, industrial automation, home automation, and connected vending, positioning it as a trusted partner for advanced interface solutions.

As a long‑standing Qt partner, e‑GITS delivers tailored training programs and certifies its software against the highest industry standards. Its application stack supports embedded Linux, Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS across embedded, mobile, and desktop environments.

With the addition of e‑GITS, the Garz & Fricke Group now employs roughly 150 professionals, the majority of whom are engineers. The new locations in southern Germany and Chennai will enable the Group to deliver even more responsive customer support, with the India development centre operating under German oversight.

This strategic acquisition completes the Group’s end‑to‑end offering, covering panel PCs, HMIs, operating systems, GUI applications, payment platforms, and cloud services, and solidifies its position as an integrated systems provider.
