Eurotech has introduced the CPU‑162‑23, a fanless COM Express Type‑7 module that marries Intel Xeon/Pentium D‑1500‑family power with rugged, industrial‑grade reliability.

In a compact 125 × 95 mm Basic form factor, the module supports up to 16 cores and four DDR4 SO‑DIMM slots, delivering up to 64 GB of ECC‑enabled memory. This configuration brings true server‑class performance to edge deployments.

Its interface lineup is designed for extreme expandability: 32 PCI Express lanes, two 10‑Gbps links, a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port, two SATA 3.0 connectors, four USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports. These high‑speed options enable seamless integration with a wide range of peripherals and networking gear.

The CPU‑162‑23’s fanless, solder‑on architecture ensures reliable operation across a wide temperature envelope of –40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for harsh industrial and transportation environments.

Built as a turnkey building block for stand‑alone or connected IoT edge nodes, the module natively integrates with Eurotech’s Everyware Software Framework (ESF). It also supports Everyware Cloud and the Eurotech IoT Integration Platform, allowing remote device management, data analytics, and IT application integration out of the box.
