Portwell Unveils the Kuber‑212G: A Rugged, Fan‑less IoT Gateway PC Powered by 14 nm Intel Celeron

Mitwell, a subsidiary of Portwell, announces the launch of the Kuber‑212G—a compact, fan‑less embedded system powered by the latest 14 nm Intel Celeron N3350 (Apollo Lake). Measuring just 99 mm (L) × 63 mm (W) × 92 mm (D), the Kuber‑212G delivers low power consumption, high‑performance computing and a robust graphics engine, making it an ideal IoT gateway for harsh industrial automation, factory automation and other demanding applications.

The Kuber‑212G comes in a rugged, fan‑less chassis and is equipped with the Intel Celeron N3350, 4 GB LPDDR4‑2400 memory, and offers roughly 30 % more computing power and 45 % higher graphics performance than its predecessor. The device features Intel Gen9 graphics with up to 18 execution units, enabling 4K displays via DisplayPort. With a thermal design power (TDP) below 10 W and an input range of 12–30 VDC ± 20 %, it supports power‑hungry industrial workloads. Storage options include 32 GB eMMC (expandable to 256 GB), an M.2 Key B2242 slot, and a Mini PCIe (M.2 Key‑E 2230) connector for additional expansion.

Connectivity is extensive: 2 Gbps Industrial Ethernet (Intel i210), 2 × USB 3.0, 4 × USB 2.0, and 2 × RS‑232 via RJ45. The Kuber‑212G runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Yocto Linux, and integrates with Microsoft Azure for versatile IoT deployments.
