MeasureWare: ADI’s All‑In‑One Precision Measurement Platform for Hardware Kits and Software Tools

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) has introduced MeasureWare, a plug‑and‑play ecosystem that pairs hardware measurement kits with a suite of software tools. Designed for precision‑measurement workflows, MeasureWare spans fields from precision agriculture to machine‑health monitoring and electrochemistry.

With MeasureWare, users can capture key environmental parameters—temperature, weight, humidity, pH, and pressure—while seamlessly adjusting measurement settings as projects evolve. Current use cases include bee‑health tracking, industrial process monitoring, beverage production, and cold‑chain logistics for pharmaceuticals.

The MeasureWare Software Studio offers three core components:

• MeasureWare Designer: Recommends the optimal hardware configuration for your application.
• MeasureWare Lab: Streams real‑time data and visualizes results in the desired units.
• MeasureWare Developer: Targets advanced developers, providing support for host microcontrollers and multiple IDEs. ADI currently ships an ARM Mbed sample project and API, with additional IDE support planned.

ADI also hosts a dedicated MeasureWare support community where users share insights and obtain assistance.
