Iain Dodds is the North American Technical Director at VI-grade, where he also serves as the Product Manager for VI-WorldSim, the company’s flagship simulation visualization platform. With more than 30 years of experience in computer-aided engineering (CAE), engineering software development, vehicle development, and product management, Iain brings deep technical expertise and strategic insight to the advancement of simulation technologies in the automotive industry. Iain holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Napier University.

Leaf Jiang, Ph.D., CEO, NODAR

Dr. Leaf Jiang is the Founder and CEO of NODAR, which specializes in 3D sensing solutions for autonomous vehicles. He is an engineering industry executive with a proven track record for solving Fortune 500 companies' toughest problems, who. Leaf has won seven prestigious engineering awards, is a top MIT Ph.D. electrical engineering and computer science graduate, and has demonstrated success at leading, planning, coordinating, strategizing, and resolving engineering challenges at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Leaf is a recognized authority in LiDAR systems and designed and built coherent and direct-detection LiDAR for 12 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratories. He holds five patents, has 32 academic publications, has served as an expert witness in a patent case, and is a member of the Eta Kappa Nu Electrical and Computer Engineering and Phi Beta Kappa Engineering honor societies. Ram Mirwani, Senior Segment Manager – Automotive, Rohde & Schwarz

As the Senior Segment Manager for Automotive at Rohde & Schwarz, Ram Mirwani is responsible for leading the company’s automotive business development efforts for North America. He is a business innovator and technologist with more than 28 years of experience in leading global business growth and market adoption for new technologies. Ram’s efforts span across multiple areas including test automation and training, RF/wireless design and test, and ADAS/autonomous vehicles. He has published multiple articles and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Ram holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA, both with honors, from Arizona State University.

Akshay Sheorey, Industry Specialist, Siemens Digital Industries Software

Akshay Sheorey is the Automotive Industry Specialist focused on ADAS and Software Defined Vehicles at Siemens Digital Industries Software. In this role, he is responsible for helping customers adopt and improve their vehicle development processes. Akshay has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the automotive industry on model-based development, ADAS and system simulation, and vehicle validation and verification. He has more than 15 years of experience helping clients adopt and deploy advanced simulation-based product design processes. Prior to joining Siemens, Akshay worked at MSC Software, where he specialized in vehicle dynamics and controls. As an industry thought leader, Akshay is passionate about collaborating with automakers and technology partners to unlock the full potential of digital twins in product development processes. He is a frequent speaker at leading automotive conferences and events, sharing his insights and expertise on the latest trends and best practices in this rapidly evolving field. Akshay holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan as well as an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Daniel Shwartzberg, Director of Business Development, Valens Semiconductor

As Director of System Solutions at Valens Semiconductor, Daniel Shwartzberg is responsible for ensuring customer success at the technical level, working with OEMs and Tier-1s worldwide to bring innovative next-gen E/E architectures to market. Previously, Daniel led the company’s technical marketing activities to define the requirements of the next generations of HDBaseT chipsets, both for the automotive and audiovisual markets. He also held a Product Manager position, where he was responsible for roadmap planning and implementation of the first and second generations of Valens HDBaseT integrated circuit devices. Daniel has more than 30 years of experience, predominantly within the semiconductor industry. Prior to Valens, he was Director of Marketing at TranSwitch and has also held positions in project management and engineering at Mindspeed Technologies, Comverse Network Systems, and Ford Motor Company. Daniel holds a master’s degree in engineering and a bachelor’s degree with honors in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
