DIN 1693-1 GGG-50 Cast Iron – Properties, Applications, and Performance
GGG-50, a ferritic-perlitic cast iron material with nodular cast iron for cast pieces for static and dynamic loadings in the construction of vehicles, in civil engineering and plastics processing, in the machine tool manufacture, in mechanical engineering, manufacture of fittings, energy mechanical engineering. For brake housing, brake shoes, axis housing, pressure pipes, tunnel ring segments, shut-off valves for armatures, housings for ball valves, gyroscope crusher, augers, transmission case, magnet wheels for generators, crankshafts, flywheels, hubs, chain wheels, gear wheels, gear rims. The material is comparable to UNS F 33100 of the USA.
