DIN 17865 G‑Ti3 Castings: Superior Corrosion Resistance for Industrial Applications

Castings made from G-Ti3 with the material number 3.7051 are preferably applied in the apparatus construction as well as for application purposes with demands on the corrosion-resistance, e.g. in the chemical industry, paper, cellulose, textile and food industry, in the energy extraction and maritime technology, in the galvanic technology and the surface refinement as well as in the medical technology. In reducing mediums, the corrosion-resistance is worse than with the palladium-alloyed material G-Ti3Pd.
