EN 10277-5 Grade 34CrS4 – Quenched, Tempered & Cold Drawn Steel for Automotive & Machine Applications
Steel 34CrS4 is suitable for mean loaded parts in vehicle, engine and machine engineering with mean heat-treatment sections and enhanced workability (e.g. transmission parts, shafts, axles). Lowest application temperature -25°C. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
