EN 10277-5 Grade C50E: Quenched, Tempered, Cold-Drawn Steel for Heavy Engineering
Steel C50E is suitable for larger parts (heavy forged parts) in vehicle, engine and machine engineering (e.g. transmission parts, shafts, wheel hubs). Lowest application temperature -25°C. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
