EN 10277-2 Grade C50 Steel – Rolled & Turned Bright Steel for High‑Strength Applications

Steel C50 is suitable for parts of higher requirements to strength and wear resistance in vehicle, engine and machine engineering (e.g. shafts, hubs). Lowest application temperature -25 °C, most favorable application area 5 to 10 mm nominal size. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
