Grade C60 Steel – EN 10277-2 Rolled and Turned (Shrouded) for High-Strength Applications
Steel C60 is suitable for parts of high strength and higher requirements to wear resistance in vehicle, engine and machine engineering, surface hardenable (e.g. transmission parts, shafts, axles). Further application in toolmaking. Lowest application temperature -25 °C. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
