EN 10250-4 X2CrNiMoN17-13-3 Steel – Solution Annealed, Enhanced Corrosion Resistance

The make X2CrNiMoN17-13-3 is comparable to X 2 CrNiMoN 17 13 3 acc. to DIN17440 : 1985-07. The material is a fully austenitic steel usable for mirror finishing, showing higher strength due to N-alloying. It shows higher corrosion resistance especially to non-oxidizing acids and halogenated media than 1.4406 by higher molybdenum-addition. Resistance to intercrystalline corrosion in delivery condition and also in sensitized condition. The material shows higher resistance to selective attack than 1.4435 and excellent limiting fatigue stress under chemical loading.
