DIN 17224 X12 CrNi 17/7 – Premium Spring‑Hard Stainless Steel for High‑Performance Applications

The stainless steel X 12 CrNi 17 7 is usually used cold strained as wire up to 10 mm diameter or strip up to 1,6 mm thickness for springs or spring parts, also under corrosion stress and little raised temperatures.
