DIN 1725-1 Grade 3.3535 H1x: Premium Corrosion-Resistant Magnesium Alloy

The alloy is characterised by a good corrosion resistance. It is sea water steady and resistant to saline atmosphere. The Mg content increases the strength, but the cold forming capacity decreases. The material is nature hard, i.e. only by a cold forming and not by a purposeful heat treatment a strength increase can be attained. It is well polishable and anodisable. The splinter-giving machinability becomes better with increasing Mg content, just as the weldability. The material is used for statically loaded construction units. It is of this type of alloy the material most common used in the technology. For decorative anodising must be proceeded from the anodising quality AlMg3EQ. Application: In the apparatus engineering for pressure and compressed gas according to AD-W6/1 and VdTUEV-Werkstoffblaetter, for tanks for very low-temperatures, for heat exchangers. In the building industry for claddings, roofings, windows, doors and window walls, fittings as well as for carrying constructions according to DIN 4113. In the automobile engineering for commercial motor vehicle superstructures (sheet metal), for silo and tank trucks as well as body parts. For diaphragm disks of brake boosters, in the aircraft construction, in the building of forms predominantly for tools and devices as base, head and stamp plates as well as guide plates. For metal goods (incl. table-ware) and metal-describe, in food industry (including commercial devices), in the building of rail-mounted vehicles for equipments, in mechanical engineering for machine bodys, for housings. In shipbuilding for trunk and superstructures and equipment. For transport container (rolling barrel, large bottles to 10 l, liquid container up to 1 cubic meter in galvanized steel rack). For packing (doses, dose cover, valve disk for aerosol doses and bottle caps), for furniture (incl. camping furniture) and for joining elements (solid rivets, blind rivets, riveting nuts and screws) as well as for flexible pipes.

Quantity: One truck load – Specialty products on request.Additional services: Via Cindal (the Aludium R&D department): R&D services, benchmarking, chemical audits, material specification, process optimisation, quality monitoring, sample analysis, prototyping, training
