Osram Introduces Oslon Boost HM LED: Ultra‑Slim, High‑Brightness Headlamp Technology
Osram has launched its new Oslon Boost HM LED series, enabling ultra‑slim headlamp designs for modern vehicles. The Oslon Boost HM delivers an impressive 415 lm at 1.5 A from a minuscule 0.5 mm² chip, while the compact package—1.9 × 1.5 × 0.73 mm—makes it ideal for adaptive front‑lighting systems such as bend lighting and matrix lighting.
With a luminance of 255 cd/mm² at 1.5 A, this LED offers best‑in‑class performance without compromising output, enabling a finger‑width front headlamp that retains full brightness.
Beyond single‑beam applications, the Oslon Boost HM can be combined with other LEDs to create additional high‑beam options and is fully compatible with MEMS‑based adaptive front‑lighting solutions.
The ceramic package features an electrically insulated pad and internal design structures that facilitate efficient heat dissipation, resulting in a low thermal resistance of only 4.62 K/W.
