Renesas RE01 Evaluation Kit – Powering Energy‑Harvesting IoT Solutions

Renesas’ RE01 evaluation kit showcases how our 32‑bit RE01 Group of embedded controllers power energy‑harvesting IoT solutions. Built on silicon‑on‑thin‑buried‑oxide (SOTB) technology, the RE01 series cuts power usage in active and standby modes, allowing devices to run continuously without battery replacement or recharging.

The kit features an RE01 controller built around an ARM Cortex‑M0+ core running up to 64 MHz and 1.5 MB of flash memory. It includes dedicated ports for energy‑harvesting modules and a rechargeable battery, an Arduino‑compatible header for rapid sensor prototyping, and a Pmod connector for wireless module testing.
