X2CrNiN18-7 Strain-Hardened Steel (DIN 5512-3) – Superior Corrosion Resistance & Toughness

The steel is used for rail vehicle engineering acc. to the selected standard DIN 5512-3. The corresponding properties of EN 10088 shall be taken. Application examples: skin panels, profiles Remarks: Compared to 1.4301 the steel offers better evenness and toughness at the same strength. Resistant to intercrystalline corrosion in the delivery and the welded condition.
