DIN 5512-3 X5CrNiMo17-12-2 Strain-Hardened Steel (+C700) – Ideal for Rail Vehicles & Tank Applications
The steel is used for rail vehicle engineering acc. to the selected standard DIN 5512-3. The corresponding properties of EN 10088 shall be taken. Application example: tanks Remarks: For higher chemical loading and for welded constructions ≤ 6 mm sheet thickness. Resistant to intercrystalline corrosion in the delivery and the welded condition.
