AuNi18: High-Performance Gold Vacuum Brazing Alloy
Gold-based vacuum-brazing alloy. Gold brazing alloys are characterized by high corrosion resistance and good mechanical stability. They are used in turbine construction, in engine construction, in nuclear technology and in space technology. In many cases, the alloy AuNi18 has proven itself. Special reliability of the brazed joint guarantee high oxidation resistance and strength of the gold brazing alloys up to> 800°C, low hardness, good formability, good wetting and flow properties, high corrosion resistance under atmospheric conditions against aggressive media and low erosion tendency. The material is used as a vacuum hard solder (soldering range 950 to 1000°C) (turbine construction, transmitter tubes, aerospace, engine construction).
