EN 10277-5 Grade C45: Cold Drawn, Turned & Normalized Steel for Automotive & Machinery
Steel C 45 is suitable for mean strained parts in vehicle manufacturing, engine and machine engineering (e.g. transmission shafts, gear wheels, transmission parts). Lowest application temp. -25 °C, favorable creep behaviour up to 480 °C.
