EN 10250-2 Grade C45E: Normalized & Tempered Steel for Heavy‑Duty Applications
Steel C45 is suitable for mean loaded parts of higher dimensions (large forged parts) and complexer forms in vehicle and machine engineering (e.g. ship shafts, transmission parts, wheel hubs). As a bright steel product the steel is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
